Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2012, there were 774,358 people that identified as Non-Hispanic Asian alone in New Jersey and they represented 8.75% of the total population of New Jersey in 2012. Middlesex County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Asian alone population (186,289), followed by Bergen County (139,104), and Hudson County (93,716). On the other hand, Salem County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic Asian alone (560), followed by Cape May County (891), and Cumberland County (1,909).

When it comes to the percentage of each county's population that identified as Non-Hispanic Asian alone, Middlesex County had the highest percentage (22.74%), followed by Somerset County (15.31%), and Bergen County (15.18%).
