Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2017, there were 601,426 hispanics or latinos (of all racial backgrounds) in Maryland and they represented 9.98% of the total population of Maryland in 2017.

Montgomery County had the highest number of hispanics or latinos (201,910), followed by Prince George's County (166,249), and Baltimore County (44,368). On the other hand, Garrett County had the lowest number of hispanics or latinos (344), followed by Kent County (848), and Somerset County (912).

When it comes to the ratio of hispanic to non-hispanic population, Montgomery County had the highest percentage (19.28%), followed by Prince George's County (18.25%), and Frederick County (9.44%).
