Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2021, there were 743,580 hispanics or latinos (of all racial backgrounds) in Maryland and they represented 12.04% of the total population of Maryland in 2021.

Montgomery County had the highest number of hispanics or latinos (217,281), followed by Prince George's County (207,857), and Baltimore County (63,224). On the other hand, Garrett County had the lowest number of hispanics or latinos (366), followed by Kent County (1,077), and Somerset County (1,098).

When it comes to the ratio of hispanic to non-hispanic population, Prince George's County had the highest percentage (21.73%), followed by Montgomery County (20.57%), and Frederick County (12.33%).
