Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2021, there were 11,661,238 hispanics or latinos (of all racial backgrounds) in Texas and they represented 39.45% of the total population of Texas in 2021.

Harris County had the highest number of hispanics or latinos (2,053,872), followed by Bexar County (1,209,205), and Dallas County (1,056,051). On the other hand, Loving County had the lowest number of hispanics or latinos (1), followed by King County (31), and Borden County (73).

When it comes to the ratio of hispanic to non-hispanic population, Starr County had the highest percentage (97.35%), followed by Webb County (95.12%), and Maverick County (94.87%).
