Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2021, there were 11,661,238 people in Texas who identified as Hispanic or Latino. Among this group, 93.81% (10,939,203) identified their race as White, 2.24% (261,142) identified their race as Black or African American, and 1.84% (214,144) identified their race as American Indian and Alaska Native.
