Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2022, there were 12,068,549 people in Texas who identified as Hispanic or Latino. Among this group, 93.65% (11,302,505) identified their race as White, 2.31% (279,154) identified their race as Black or African American, and 1.86% (224,238) identified their race as American Indian and Alaska Native.
