Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2014, there were 10,409,360 people in Texas who identified as Hispanic or Latino. Among this group, 94.44% (9,830,137) identified their race as White, 1.96% (203,831) identified their race as Black or African American, and 1.77% (184,569) identified their race as American Indian and Alaska Native.
