Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2019, there were 11,491,337 people in Texas who identified as Hispanic or Latino. Among this group, 94.03% (10,805,614) identified their race as White, 2.16% (248,541) identified their race as Black or African American, and 1.79% (205,283) identified their race as American Indian and Alaska Native.
