Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2022, there were 37,807 hispanics or latinos (of all racial backgrounds) in West Virginia and they represented 2.13% of the total population of West Virginia in 2022.

Berkeley County had the highest number of hispanics or latinos (8,275), followed by Jefferson County (4,492), and Monongalia County (3,359). On the other hand, Wirt County had the lowest number of hispanics or latinos (14), followed by Calhoun County (56), and Pendleton County (59).

When it comes to the ratio of hispanic to non-hispanic population, Jefferson County had the highest percentage (7.61%), followed by Berkeley County (6.4%), and Hardy County (4.44%).
