According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2017, the net domestic migration for Maryland was -24,085. Frederick County had the highest net domestic migration (2,209) followed by Charles County (1,356), and Harford County (875). On the other hand, Prince George's County had the lowest net domestic migration (-10,047), followed by Baltimore city (-9,241), and Montgomery County (-7,405).

Net Domestic Migration for a given county refers to the the difference between number of people moving to the county from other parts of the United States (excluding Puerto Rico) and number of people moving out of the county to other parts of the United States (excluding Puerto Rico).
