New Mexico Net Domestic Migration By County in 2011

According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2011, the net domestic migration for New Mexico was 499. Bernalillo County had the highest net domestic migration (1,346) followed by Sandoval County (1,151), and Doña Ana County (858). On the other hand, San Juan County had the lowest net domestic migration (-1,566), followed by Chaves County (-353), and Rio Arriba County (-310).

Net Domestic Migration for a given county refers to the the difference between number of people moving to the county from other parts of the United States (excluding Puerto Rico) and number of people moving out of the county to other parts of the United States (excluding Puerto Rico).
