According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2022, the net migration rate per 1,000 population for Georgia was 9.92. Long County had the highest net migration rate per 1,000 population (61.01), followed by Dawson County (54.22), and Lumpkin County (53.24). On the other hand, Stewart County had the lowest net migration rate per 1,000 population (-63.45), followed by Wheeler County (-60.74), and Chattahoochee County (-50.93).
