Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2010, among all Illinois counties, Alexander County had the highest percentage of its population who identified their ethnicity as Non-Hispanic Black or African American (35.55%), followed by Pulaski County (32.15%), and St. Clair County (30.36%).
