Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2013, among all Illinois counties, Alexander County had the highest percentage of its population who identified their ethnicity as Non-Hispanic Black or African American (34.42%), followed by Pulaski County (31.98%), and St. Clair County (30.14%).
