Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2010, among all South Dakota counties, Minnehaha County had the highest percentage of its population who identified their ethnicity as Non-Hispanic Black or African American (3.83%), followed by Yankton County (1.46%), and Clay County (1.27%).
