Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2013, among all South Dakota counties, Minnehaha County had the highest percentage of its population who identified their ethnicity as Non-Hispanic Black or African American (4.42%), followed by Yankton County (1.84%), and Meade County (1.69%).
