Based on data from the CDC, the overall number of fatal drug overdose deaths involving Any stimulants in the US in 2022 was 33,255, and the age adjusted rate per 100,000 persons was 20.1. These overall values was based on data from 35 jurisdictions (i.e. states and DC).

Among all states with data, Ohio had the highest number of fatal drug overdose deaths involving Any stimulants (3,021), followed by Pennsylvania (2,908), North Carolina (2,553), and Tennessee (2,233).

In terms of the age-adjusted rate of fatal drug overdose deaths involving Any stimulants per 100K persons, West Virginia had the highest (55), followed by Tennessee (32.7), and Kentucky (30.2).
