Based on data from the CDC, the overall number of fatal drug overdose deaths involving Any stimulants in the US in 2024 was 34,723, and the age adjusted rate per 100,000 persons was 15.9. These overall values was based on data from 43 jurisdictions (i.e. states and DC).

Among all states with data, New York had the highest number of fatal drug overdose deaths involving Any stimulants (2,714), followed by Washington (2,168), Ohio (2,071), and Pennsylvania (1,979).

In terms of the age-adjusted rate of fatal drug overdose deaths involving Any stimulants per 100K persons, West Virginia had the highest (33.2), followed by Alaska (31.5), and Nevada (31.3).
