Based on data from the CDC, the overall number of fatal drug overdose deaths involving Cocaine in the US in 2024 was 17,866, and the age adjusted rate per 100,000 persons was 8.1. These overall values was based on data from 43 jurisdictions (i.e. states and DC).

Among all states with data, New York had the highest number of fatal drug overdose deaths involving Cocaine (2,361), followed by Pennsylvania (1,420), Ohio (1,355), and Illinois (1,083).

In terms of the age-adjusted rate of fatal drug overdose deaths involving Cocaine per 100K persons, Vermont had the highest (23.7), followed by Rhode Island (18), and Delaware (16.9).
