On Thursday, January 6, 2022 at approximately 11:00am while observing the holding pens, the following non-compliance was found regarding HATS Category: Livestock pens, driveways and ramps. CSI REDACTED observed on the large holding pen, there is chicken wire on the gates where the cut edges are rolled inside the pen that could cause harm to animals being held. There is also a spot on the alley where the animals are unloaded that has a wire protruding that animals could get injured. CSI REDACTED verbally informed establishment manager REDACTED of this non-compliance. There were no animals in any of the holding pens or alleys at the time of observation. The is no prior non-compliance with similar root cause within the last 90 days.
