Non-Compliance Description:

While performing the Livestock Humane Handling Verification Task HATS Category III Water and Feed Availability at approximately 0955, I noted that a lot of 30 lambs was in the back holding pen with no access to water. I alerted the plant manager and he immediately moved the animals into another pen that contained filled water troughs. I informed the plant manager that this was a non-compliance and that an NR would be issued. No similar non-compliances have occurred in the last 90 days.
