Hats Category VIII Stunning Effectiveness At approximately 11:15 a.m., I CSI REDACTED, observed the establishment bring a cow into the knock box and restrained in the head catch. The establishment stun operator delivered an initial stun attempt with a captive bolt device that was ineffective, as the cow remained standing and exhibited conscious vocalization. The employee reloaded the captive bolt device and delivered an immediate corrective action stun, which rendered the animal insensible, and it remained so thereafter. The knock box was tagged with US Retain tag #B41277045 and the establishment owner/manager REDACTED was notified of the regulatory control action and of the forthcoming non-compliance record.
