Hats: Category VIII On Thursday September 19, 2022, at approximately 0830 hours, the following noncompliance was observed. While conducting a routine Humane Handling task a beef was in the kill chute to be knocked the first shot did not render the beef unconscious the plant employee took immediate corrective actions and administered a second shot which rendered the beef unconscious, Plant management was notified of the noncompliance.

HAT Category V III On May 5, 2024, I witnessed the following noncompliance. While on the kill floor a market hog was in the kill box the first shot dropped the pig and they opened the Shute to stick the animal and it tried to get up and began to vocalize they initiated another shot which did nothing to change the animal he grabbed the stun gun and administered a stun to the head which demined the animal unconscious and before opening the Shute again did a back up shot with the 22 mag rife at this time the animal stayed unconscious and they stuck the pig
