While completing a humane handling task at Neese Country Sausage(M8341) on 12/10/24 at 9:00am the IIC observed the following noncompliance(s). At approximately 6:30am the IIC observed the establishment employee move a sow into the staging area for slaughter. The establishment employee stated that he would provide the sow water in the staging area. At approximately 9:00am the IIC observed that the sow did not have any accessible water. No regulatory control was taken due to establishment management immediately moving the sow to a area with accessible water. REDACTED, establishment manager was notified of the establishments failure to comply with federal regulation 9 CFR 313.2(e).
