According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, the average weekly wage for the United States in 2010 Q3 was $870. Among all US states and DC, District of Columbia had the highest average weekly wage ($1,470), followed by Massachusetts ($1,070), and Connecticut ($1,068).

On the other hand, Montana had the lowest average weekly wage ($647), followed by Mississippi ($652), and South Dakota ($660).
