According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, the average weekly wage for the United States in 2023 Q2 was $1,332. Among all US states and DC, District of Columbia had the highest average weekly wage ($2,193), followed by Massachusetts ($1,670), and Washington ($1,649).

On the other hand, Mississippi had the lowest average weekly wage ($924), followed by Arkansas ($1,033), and South Dakota ($1,035).
