According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, the average weekly wage for the United States in 2023 Q3 was $1,334. Among all US states and DC, Washington had the highest average weekly wage ($1,687), followed by Massachusetts ($1,644), and California ($1,612).

On the other hand, Mississippi had the lowest average weekly wage ($926), followed by Arkansas ($1,037), and West Virginia ($1,045).
