According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, the average weekly wage for the United States in 2023 Q1 was $1,465. Among all US states and DC, District of Columbia had the highest average weekly wage ($2,340), followed by New York ($2,016), and Massachusetts ($1,916).

On the other hand, Mississippi had the lowest average weekly wage ($946), followed by West Virginia ($1,061), and Montana ($1,079).
