According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, the average weekly wage for the United States in 2012 Q3 was $905. Among all US states and DC, District of Columbia had the highest average weekly wage ($1,515), followed by Massachusetts ($1,102), and New York ($1,089).

On the other hand, Mississippi had the lowest average weekly wage ($671), followed by South Dakota ($683), and Idaho ($687).
