According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, the average weekly wage for the United States in 2014 Q3 was $949. Among all US states and DC, District of Columbia had the highest average weekly wage ($1,630), followed by Massachusetts ($1,162), and New York ($1,145).

On the other hand, Mississippi had the lowest average weekly wage ($697), followed by Idaho ($721), and Montana ($732).
