According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, the average weekly wage for the United States in 2015 Q2 was $968. Among all US states and DC, District of Columbia had the highest average weekly wage ($1,605), followed by Massachusetts ($1,209), and New York ($1,181).

On the other hand, Mississippi had the lowest average weekly wage ($709), followed by Idaho ($713), and South Dakota ($740).
