According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, the average weekly wage for the United States in 2015 Q3 was $974. Among all US states and DC, District of Columbia had the highest average weekly wage ($1,664), followed by Massachusetts ($1,196), and New York ($1,181).

On the other hand, Mississippi had the lowest average weekly wage ($706), followed by Idaho ($736), and Arkansas ($755).
