According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, the average weekly wage for the United States in 2015 Q4 was $1,083. Among all US states and DC, District of Columbia had the highest average weekly wage ($1,753), followed by Massachusetts ($1,385), and New York ($1,373).

On the other hand, Mississippi had the lowest average weekly wage ($770), followed by Idaho ($803), and Montana ($818).
