According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, the average weekly wage for the United States in 2016 Q3 was $1,027. Among all US states and DC, District of Columbia had the highest average weekly wage ($1,736), followed by Massachusetts ($1,277), and New York ($1,222).

On the other hand, Mississippi had the lowest average weekly wage ($739), followed by Idaho ($782), and Montana ($792).
