According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, the average weekly wage for the United States in 2018 Q1 was $1,152. Among all US states and DC, District of Columbia had the highest average weekly wage ($1,917), followed by New York ($1,597), and Massachusetts ($1,508).

On the other hand, Mississippi had the lowest average weekly wage ($765), followed by Idaho ($809), and Montana ($819).
