According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, the average weekly wage for the United States in 2018 Q4 was $1,145. Among all US states and DC, District of Columbia had the highest average weekly wage ($1,943), followed by Massachusetts ($1,456), and New York ($1,445).

On the other hand, Mississippi had the lowest average weekly wage ($793), followed by Arkansas ($870), and South Dakota ($885).
