According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, the average weekly wage for the United States in 2019 Q1 was $1,183. Among all US states and DC, District of Columbia had the highest average weekly wage ($1,921), followed by New York ($1,639), and Massachusetts ($1,559).

On the other hand, Mississippi had the lowest average weekly wage ($779), followed by Idaho ($829), and Montana ($843).
