According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, the average weekly wage for the United States in 2019 Q2 was $1,094. Among all US states and DC, District of Columbia had the highest average weekly wage ($1,779), followed by Massachusetts ($1,377), and New York ($1,347).

On the other hand, Mississippi had the lowest average weekly wage ($767), followed by Idaho ($820), and South Dakota ($837).
