According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, the average weekly wage for the United States in 2019 Q4 was $1,185. Among all US states and DC, District of Columbia had the highest average weekly wage ($1,991), followed by Massachusetts ($1,510), and New York ($1,499).

On the other hand, Mississippi had the lowest average weekly wage ($816), followed by Arkansas ($897), and West Virginia ($904).
