According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, the average weekly wage for the United States in 2020 Q1 was $1,221. Among all US states and DC, District of Columbia had the highest average weekly wage ($1,993), followed by New York ($1,693), and Massachusetts ($1,606).

On the other hand, Mississippi had the lowest average weekly wage ($802), followed by Idaho ($864), and Montana ($868).
