According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, the average weekly wage for the United States in 2020 Q2 was $1,188. Among all US states and DC, District of Columbia had the highest average weekly wage ($1,989), followed by Massachusetts ($1,573), and New York ($1,520).

On the other hand, Mississippi had the lowest average weekly wage ($812), followed by Idaho ($883), and South Dakota ($912).
