According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, the average weekly wage for the United States in 2021 Q2 was $1,241. Among all US states and DC, District of Columbia had the highest average weekly wage ($2,098), followed by Massachusetts ($1,593), and California ($1,582).

On the other hand, Mississippi had the lowest average weekly wage ($842), followed by Idaho ($930), and South Dakota ($936).
