According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, the average weekly wage for the United States in 2022 Q1 was $1,374. Among all US states and DC, District of Columbia had the highest average weekly wage ($2,227), followed by New York ($1,973), and Massachusetts ($1,826).

On the other hand, Mississippi had the lowest average weekly wage ($881), followed by West Virginia ($969), and Idaho ($985).
