According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Transportation and Warehousing industry (not seasonally adjusted) in June, 2012:

  1. California: 6,100
  2. New York: 2,700
  3. Massachusetts: 1,900

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Transportation and Warehousing industry (not seasonally adjusted) in June, 2012:

  1. Illinois: -3,300
  2. Minnesota: -1,800
  3. Missouri: -1,200
