According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in October, 2020, South Dakota added the highest number of jobs to the federal government public administration industry (-283), followed by North Dakota (-333), and Hawaii (-503).

On the other hand, New York added the least number of jobs (-15,916), followed by Texas (-14,184), and California (-13,588).
