According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in October, 2021, Maryland added the highest number of jobs to the federal government public administration industry (905), followed by Tennessee (134), and Alabama (95).

On the other hand, California added the least number of jobs (-859), followed by Montana (-506), and Idaho (-437).
