According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in January, 2022, Oklahoma added the highest number of jobs to the private oil and gas extraction industry (473), followed by Texas (102), and Utah (45).

On the other hand, Pennsylvania added the least number of jobs (-387), followed by West Virginia (-273), and Louisiana (-125).
