According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in February, 2023, Texas added the highest number of jobs to the private oil and gas extraction industry (219), followed by Oklahoma (132), and Ohio (38).

On the other hand, Louisiana added the least number of jobs (-88), followed by Pennsylvania (-17), and Kentucky (-11).
