According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in April, 2023, Alabama added the highest number of jobs to the private oil and gas extraction industry (43), followed by Kansas (33), and Alaska (28).

On the other hand, Texas added the least number of jobs (-798), followed by Oklahoma (-273), and Colorado (-132).
