According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in October, 2021, California added the highest number of jobs to the private chemical manufacturing industry (1,353), followed by New Jersey (843), and New York (718).

On the other hand, Virginia added the least number of jobs (-498), followed by Pennsylvania (-100), and Utah (-69).
